In 2017, we made our first step towards organic viticulture. Thus, in three years, (conversion time) our Chateau Farluret 2020 will be sold for the first time with the organic logo.
This wine comes from a small clay-limestone plot of 2.10 ha named “la pachère” in the village of Barsac.
We consider this plot rather conducive to organic farming because it is very well ventilated, which prevents from the development of fungal diseases such as downy mildew, black rot or oidium.
Once harvested and vinified, Château Farluret 2020 will be aged for about 2 years. We therefore ask you to be patient and we will meet you in 2022 to taste our first organic vintage!
